In 2019, as part of Aeris’ strategic partnership with Google Cloud, we partnered with Globant to migrate all of Aeris’ and Mitsubishi’s workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The end-to-end partnership has only accelerated our success, with Aeris realizing a whopping 50% reduction in cloud costs that we are able to pass on to our customers. That’s no small figure when you are using over 3000 pods of GCP and have over a billion messages going through Google Analytics daily.
Recently Bryan Arnett, Director of Digital Product Strategy at Mitsubishi Motors, joined Aeris’ VP of Engineering, Drew Johnson in a webinar hosted by Google Cloud to reflect on our experiences working together. In the Webinar, Arnett described the opportunities that OEMs have to delight customers, noting that “connected services have become a major selling point and a point of differentiation.”
“The technology from Aeris and Google enables us to continue to innovate with a keen focus on what the customer’s needs are, and that’s really important. Connected services give Mitsubishi invaluable data that we can leverage to stand out in the industry.” – Bryan Arnett, Director of Digital Strategy, Mitsubishi Motors
Arnett also discussed the many ways that Aeris has helped Mitsubishi adapt from a hardware mindset to a software mindset, and leverage data to create connected services of value, adding: “The technology from Aeris and Google enables us to continue to innovate with a keen focus on what the customer’s needs are, and that’s really important. Connected services give Mitsubishi invaluable data that we can leverage to stand out in the industry.”
