Security in a Low-Power Context – Making Simple Devices Secure

Security is at a premium today in IoT applications – the IMC’s own research shows that it is a revenue opportunity and an absolute requirement. Like any application of processing power, however, providing security involves power consumption. This session will discuss techniques for providing security without breaking the power budget for devices. An update on the IMC’s Joint Task Force on IoT Security (an initiative with the Global Certification Forum) will also be provided.
